Guidelines for Parents



1. Parents should ensure punctuality, school uniform and hair cut of their wards.
2. See that your ward carries books / exercise books according to the time table for that day/ No extra books are allowed.
3. See that your ward is well prepared for the weekly test and brings answer sheets to school on test days. Also see his/her Report Card and teacher's remarks in his/her class work / home exercise books / Almanac. Please attend the PTMs of your ward reqularly.
4. Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
5. If your ward is absent from school, he must make up all the work missed by him/her. The details of written work done in the class can be noted down from the daily log book of the class.
6. If your ward has to leave the school campus during school hours, he/she must bring a letter explaining the reason. A gate pass will be issued by the school office. This must be presented at the school gate at the time of departure. However permission will be granted at the discretion of the Principal.
7. It is advisable to write to School (in school almanac) regarding problems of your ward or for seeking guidance. Your letters will be replied to, after having discussion with the concerned teachers.
8. All Parents are requested to impart Health Education to their children so that they :
a) Maintain personal hygiene like : trimming of nails and being neat on a regular basis
b) Exercise regularly.
c) Sleep for at least eight hours daily.
d) Drink milk and have a nutritious diet rich in protein. Avoid junk/packed food.
e) Drink water which is either boiled or filtered. All students are advised to bring their own water bottles from home.
f) Avoid consumption of ice-creams, other milk products and eatables from road side vendors.
g) Get dental and eye check up every year by a dental surgeon and an ophthalmologist.
